Job Offer - Group Rocher - Global Category Lead (Raw Materials)

Main expected results 

  •  Implementation and continuous optimization of the Procurement strategy for key categories

  • Economic value creation according to the defined targets of the Group performance program (including implementation of the eco-conception roadmap and development of new opportunities)

  • Integration as a recognized partner within the Procurement and Brand ecosystem of the Group

Scope and main responsibilities

  • Management and continuous optimization of a Group Spend of 60 to 120 million €, covering various sub-categories of raw materials

  •  Development and Management of the relationship with the main internal stakeholders of each brand (Heads of R&D, Raw Material Leaders, Heads of Operations, Buyers, General Management) and principal external stakeholders (key suppliers) at Group level

  •  Review/optimization and implementation/follow up of effective Procurement strategies for main categories/subcategories including building and/or adjustment of and implementation of the respective roadmaps

  •  Implementation/optimization and acceptance of an adequate Procurement policy at Group level while integrating the CSR approach as a fundamental axis of the Group Procurement strategy

  •  Development/Reinforcement of an ecosystem of innovative and integrated partner suppliers, and of a sustainable basis of SRM/SD (Supplier Relationship Management/Supplier Development)

  • Launching and sustainable installation of co-development and co-innovation together with internal and external key actors

  • Implementation/optimization of management and reporting tools and monitoring/follow up of Procurement value creation

  •  Communication of the role and action of Procurement, and development of a true Group Procurement culture

Experience/Qualifications

  •  Engineering or business degree of equivalent

  •  Min. 7-8 years of Directs Procurement experience in an international industrial environment, ideally in an FMCG industry with a similar dynamic as Group Rocher (cosmetics, food, pharma,  ..)

  •  Solid experience in Raw Materials Procurement categories (including economic models, cost drivers, professional channels and market players, …)

  •  Management of transversal and/or transformation projects

  •  Experience in Category Management (definition/implementation of Procurement Category strategies)

Direct reporting :  Group Procurement Director, Directs

Location :   Issy les Moulineaux (Paris, France) 

Languages :   English (fluent), French (good communication), any other foreign language is a plus

Mobility :    Regular travel to be expected in France and internationally
